Established in January of 1927!
5-states-areaStone Machinery was established in January of 1927 and operates as a regional machine tool distributor serving the Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Western Wisconsin markets. Company ownership is divided between owners Tom Drazkowski and Orrin Brown who have a combined experience of 40 years of machine tool sales and service in the Midwest. Stone Machinery employs approximately 14 people to provide sales and service of several types of CNC machinery to the upper Midwest region of the USA. Our ongoing mission is tosustain growth and financial security of our customers through quality sales and service of metal working machinery in the upper Midwest.

Stone Machinery’s organization is comprised of three departments: Sales, Service, and Administration. Stone Machinery maintains a variety of machines in stock for training, demonstration, and rapid delivery to our customers. Stone Machinery’s service excels as a “value added” element to compliment the machine tool product lines we offers. Our success in sales of CNC lathes and mills is a result of our extensive efforts in both sales and service capacities. Our commitment to quality and service is enhanced by our alliance with Hurco, Toyoda, Eurotech Elite, and Chevalier Grinders.

Stone Machinery’s machine sales are rapidly approaching 3,000 units in the field. Our full spectrum marketing strategy combines regular sales visits with trade shows, mailings, telemarketing, regional advertising, Internet and e-commerce. Our salesmen are experienced in matching machine product features to the demands of manufacturing prospects, whether those prospects are original equipment manufacturers or production job shops. Stone Machinery’s sales personnel are knowledgeable in mechanical issues and offer “hands-on experience” with the elements of the computerized control.

Factory trained certified service technicians have “state of the art” tools for diagnosis, repair, and testing. Stone maintains four service trucks that contain parts and tools for prompt and efficient machine service. Stone Machinery’s service department conducts classroom sessions upon request for existing customers and new prospects to provide operator and program training. Service technicians play vital roles in the “value added” offerings of this customer oriented distribution company.
