TWIN SPINDLE LATHE FOR PARTS MADE FROM BAR

Specifically Designed to Significantly Reduce Cycle Times

The TTS Series is the smallest lathe in the CMZ product range and part of our multi-turret range of turning centres. The TTS is ideal for machining complex mill-turn parts from bar. This is due to its accuracy, repeatability, and reliability, as well as powerful (13.2Kw, 26.8Nm) driven tools that are capable of running at 12,000rpm all day long. Both turrets are oil-cooled. All motors are direct drive (without belts).

The TTS has been specifically designed to significantly reduce cycle times and is capable of superimposed machining (cutting with 3 tools at once). Y-axis travel of +-31mm is available on both turrets. This machine is also much quicker to set compared to Swiss type machines. All this amounts to achieving an efficient production solution.

Stock machine will be the 46mm size. TTS46.

Horizontal TurnMill Centre

LT 2 LM MSY is a Horizontal TurnMill Centre with Sub Spindle and Y-Axis. TurnMill Center has the capability of accommodating C and Y-axes to perform a wide variety of machining needs like milling, drilling, and tapping in addition to front / back end turning in a single setup. Sub Spindle has a built-in Spindle Motor and step-up construction. Available in Heavy Duty Linear Motion Roller Guideways, the machine is able to accommodate a Maximum Component Diameter of 386 mm for a maximum Turning length of 570 mm.

11-Axis Advanced Model with 3-Channel Dual Oppposed Gang Tool Post, 33 Tools & Modular Rotary Spindles

The SA XIII series of Nexturn Swiss CNC lathes consists of three models with or without rotary synchronous guide bushings. The XIII series is equipped with an opposing gang tooling system holding a maximum of 14 live tools for high productivity when machining complex parts. Use of guide bushings permits turning of longer parts, while machines without guide bushings are ideal for processing short parts and cold drawn material.

The machines feature up to 11 axes and up to 29 total tools. Maximum bar diameter capacity of the main and sub spindles is 32mm – 45mm, depending on machine size. Maximum turning lengths are 120mm – 279mm.

Main spindles and sub spindles provide as much as 20 HP (15kW) at speeds as high as 8,000 RPM while offering full C-axis capability. The synchronous sub-spindle permits simultaneous front and backworking. Live tools provide 1.3 HP (1 kW) and 6,000 RPM. Rigid tapping is standard.

Excellent rigidity results from the use of FEA technology in machine structure design. The slant-bed Nexturn machines maximize ease of use with ergonomically arranged controls and fully opening covers and doors.

9-Axis Advanced Model with Fully Programmable B-Axis, 33 Tool Capacity, Modular Rotary Spindles & Exchangeable Guide Bushing

The SA(XII) series of Nexturn Swiss CNC lathes consists of five models with or without rotary synchronous guide bushings. An optional continuous swiveling 135˚ B-axis permits variable angle machining up to 10 front and 8 back-side live tools. Use of guide bushings permits turning of longer parts, while machines without guide bushings are ideal for processing short parts and cold drawn material.

The machines feature up to 8 axes and up to 29 total tools, increasing to 9 axes with the B-axis. Maximum bar diameter capacity of the main and sub spindles is 20mm – 51mm, depending on machine size. Maximum turning lengths are 118 mm – 275mm.

Main and sub spindles provide as much as 20 HP (15kW) at speeds as high as 8,000 RPM while offering full C-axis capability. The synchronous sub-spindle permits simultaneous front and back working. Live tools provide 1.3 HP (1 kW) – 3 HP (3.3 kW) and 6,000 RPM. Rigid tapping is standard.
